Solution Presenters

This is part of our Smart Sales Tools portfolio and really goes down well with clients, it takes the traditional powerpoint and sales collateral and wraps it in a menu driven dynamic media application. Sales Directors love it as it stops muppet salesman going off message and pissing hours away destroying perfectly good presentations with clip art!

Channel Marketing Specialism

Hey, we've just realised that we are actually specialists at channel marketing - who knew? S'funny but when you write out a proposal for a client it makes you think. We collated all the stuff we do in channel marketing and it looks like a really strong offer. Another Google campaign in the waiting.

Our 4G web solution enables our clients to implement a full on permission marketing strategy.

Rich Internet Applications

This is a new buzz word which Macromedia are championing, and hats off to them, because we love these things, they encapsulate a lot of our best thinking - GUI, visual creativity, dynamic media, database integration, user experiences...

CPO

Corporate Persuasion Officer

What a great job title, one of the first things I picked up from this book, recommeded by Seth:

Call To Action

This is the guy who is in charge of persuading your strangers to be friends and you friends to be clients. So the oil on the wheels, or the guy who greases the funnel. I'm sure he would describe himself differently.

DIY eNewsletters from hell?

Technological advancements and a natural willingness for people to get more hands on with the web are leading more and more people to the same conclusion - you can do your own eNewsletters. If you are the sort of person who would do your own wedding photography, or completely re-wire your own house this article will fall on deaf ears. For anyone who understands there are experts out there who can do it better, Click for full story

The Pages Have Landed

Anyone confused by the terminology and meaning of Landing Pages can now listen to a short audio clip or podcast that helps explain the subject in plain English. There are one or two unexpected revelations that will have corporate IT and marketing departments redesigning their entire corporate sites. Click here for full story

Pressure on B2B sector to up web spend

According to the UK association of Online Publishers (AOP), the B2B sector needs to start taking its web presence more seriously and invest appropriately to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the web. The new survey also found that a surprisingly high proportion of B2B surfers were prepared to pay to access relevant web content. Click for full story

RSS set to kill off traditional media

If video has at least partially killed the radio star, RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is more than capable of putting newspapers out of business, far quicker than the media moguls would dare to admit. RSS is the latest web trend we’re keeping a very close eye on, with a view to integrating it into our client offering. Click for full story

Bids and Tenders

This is our latest client briefing document, A Guide to Bids and Tenders. A lot of our clients do not take this subject seriously enough and often let themsleves down with their final presentation. There are a couple of really strong case studies in here that show some more innovative ways to go. There is bit more to it though and there are some really good pointers here on copywriting, bid management and communication.

We are pretty unique in our positioning here and would doubt that there are many agencies who can touch us on this one.

Worth a download.

Ditch your Adverts...Switch to Webverts

The Future is Webvertising...

TV is dead, on the page advertising is old hat — if you really want to make a connection with your audience try webvertising. The good news: The format of adverts is very much alive: short punchy messages that are visually rich and informative still works, it is the medium that is dead.

No longer will you attack anonymous hoards of people with expensive ads, you need to find tribes, niches, work around the edges to connect with real prospects. The messages need to be highly personalised, tailored exactly to individual needs, the need to be engaging and meaningful. This is the basis of the new era for marketing; close relationships, real issues, solutions and positivity.

The internet is the only place where this can happen and it is where all marketing will take place from now on. PDG are experts at putting together end–to–end solutions to deliver your key messages to the people who really want to hear them, using the latest emarketing thinking and techniques. We can build you a total webvertising solution.
