Looking forward to show 14, how long does it take to update on iTunes? I've clicked on the Update button but it's not picked up the new show yet.

My copy of itunes is not updating either, I dont know how long it takes, we will have to keep an eye on it. We think it takes a feed from Podcast Alley which seems to be having some problems, you can download from here though - click above.

Great show, thanks for the shout out, your getting more like DJ's by the show.

In response to one of your comments about people finding the show:

I found your show by searching for design under the podcast directory in iTunes.

The best of ILPDG, are you gonna take it on tour?

No, I was only joking about the dj thing.

One issue you may or may not want to raise is the issue of iTunes 4.9 having the issue price column added under the Podcast feature, I have not come across any Podcast's that charge but it does raise an issue as to Whether or Not future Podcast will need to paid for, I'm sure that you would agree that this is not the way forward, but why has Apple added this feature in iTunes?

First off, you not DJs, DCs or DWs. You're Podcats, like it or not.

Funny bit about Chirac and Blair. Poor Jacques, pied straight in the bouche.

As for American politicians being sponsored (a nice way of saying "bought")...you're absolutely right.

I think we should start requiring them to wear the logos of sponsoring companies on their suits, like F1 drivers or club football players.

On giving your clients the boot...that's great advice especially for smaller, younger agencies. I know several who started out wanting to do amazing "creative" work but take a lucrative job from Globocorp to pay the bills. Globocorp ends up as their main client, the money is so hard to part with, and the once promising agency becomes the marketing version of Burger King.

What's your advice for start-up agencies and avoiding shitty projects, then?

Good point - we're the cats...

We'll try and talk about avoiding shitty projects in show 16.

Hi Dave and David,

I run a Web design studio in Melbourne, Australia and have been listening since show 13. It's a great podcast (and my first), keep it up.

A topic I would be interested in hearing about is the practise of 'Free-pitching' in UK Web design industry. In Australia Free-pitching is expected by Ad Agencies, who invest a lot of time and money into winning accounts.

Currently Web designers get off reasonably lightly, and are not expected to free-pitch often, but it does happen. Is this a common practise in the UK?

Thanks, Tim
