I know its an old podcast but here goes;
I understand the permission marketing side of the 4G strategy, from a theoretic point of view anyway, in terms of implementing this, that's a little tricky.
The main element I am trying to put into practice is the idea of dividing the site into permission levels, maybe I only have a basic CMS, but basically, you are either registered with the site or not.
With the 4G strategy, would you have different registered user levels? Also, could you give an example of somebody working through the levels, would it be something like this:
Level 1: Register with the site in order to receive our newsletter:
Level 2: Add your company details, telephone number in order to download our PDF, also, would you need to already be logged in to move on to level 2.
Very interesting subject, wish I knwe more about the backend functionality of it.
